Advice on piggeries at several military camps in the South Island has ween given to the authorities by the supervisor of the Canterbury DhU'iet Pig Council fMr 11, W. Mclntosh). In a report to the council’s committee. Mr Mclntosh said tons of good food had been wasted at camps in one area, partly because not many pigs were available, but childly because the value of the refuse was not Xealieed.-However, piggeries were now established.
