Information that the City Council was restricting garbage collections for its piggeries and concentrating more upon meal and grain feeding, was given to the Canterbury District Pig Council Committee by its supervisor (Mr H. W. Mclntosh) last evening. Answering a question, Mr Mclntosh said the reason was the cost of collection.
