SPORTS PROTECTION ASSOCIATION
Seventy-three sports bodies are affili; ated to the Canterbury Athletic Clubs Protection Association, according to the report presented at the 52nd annual meeting last evening. Mr A. Donaldson (Pioneer Sports Club) presided. The report stated that as a result of the association's operations £l6 10s had been recovered • from defaulters. Of this sum £7 9s was received by the association, the balance having been paid direct to the clubs. The association’s total assets were £74 6s 6d. The officers, all of whom were reelected. are:—President, Mr A. Donaldson (Pioneer Sports Club); committee, Messrs K. H. ' Perrin (Lancaster Park Cricket Club), H. Snook (Sydenham Hockey Club), E. E. Mayes (Technical College Old Boys’ Rugby Football Club), G. L. Young (Avon Rowing Club), D. L. Mitchell (Railway Cricket Club); honorary secretary and treasurer (Mr K. N. McGilUvray). _ .
