Amon, Manutahi, Hawera, to Sergeant Guy Crespin Palliser, R.N.Z.A.F., eldest son of Mrs E. and the late Mr J. Palliser, of St. John’s Hill, Wanganui. Mr and Mrs S. J. G. Gibson, Cashmere road, have pleasure in announcing the engagement of their elder daughter, Margaret Elizabeth,, to Alfred Mather ("Bill”) Wilkinson, elder son of Mr and Mrs Wilkinson, Marine parade, Eastbourne. The engagement is announced of Sister Mira Larsen (nursing overseas), older daughter of Mr and Mrs C. Larsen, Division street, Riccarton, and formerly of Jerusalem, Wangapui river, to James Claude, second son of Mr and Mrs J. C. Pretorius, Randfontein Estates, Transvaal, South Africa. The engagement is announced of Warrant-Officer Edward F. Fuell. only son of Mr and Mrs F. P. Fuell, Innes road, St. Albans, and Ngaire Elizabeth, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs G. J. Day, Cambridge street, Ashburton.
