Wellington, and dealing with the 24 hours following the time of issue, :s as follows: Moderate to fresh easterly to northeasterly winds; weather cloudy at times on the coast, otherwise fair; temperatures cool. WEST COAST The following is the forecast for the West Coast of the South Island: — Moderate to fresh winds from a southerly quarter; weather fair to fine; moderate temperatures. CHRISTCHURCH WEATHER The day in Christchurch yesterday was cold and overcast, with the wind from the north-east. At 1 o’clock this morning the sky was clearing, and the wind was from the north-east.
