ST. ANDREW’S COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS
The results of the St. Andrew’s College entrance scholarship and bursary examination have been announced. The first 10 candidates were:—M. Spiro (Fendalton), 295J points; J. Shepherd (Fendalton), 268J points: I. A. Pringle (Waimataitai), 259J points; L. Lawn (Fendalton), 255: R. Glen (Fendalton), 239J; R. M. Fowler (St. Andrew’s), 237J; J. M. Bremner (Oxford), 219; J. F. Bennett (Normal), 216J; R. L. Methven (Greymouth), 211£; B. L. Stanley (Shirley), 207 i. Spiro and Shepherd qualify for scholarships, and Pringle for a boarding bursary. The award of a further boarding bursary is still subject to consideration. .. i
