Sir, —Is it permissible to book and .change theatre prices for Sunday concerts? Most people are under the impression that the City Council gives or refuses permission. If that is so, then why, last Sunday, was Is 6d; charged?— Yours, etc., REAL RELIGION. September 25, 1942. [The .Town Clerk, Mr H. S. Feast, to whom this letter was referred, said that the City Council, in granting permission for Sunday concerts, fixed the conditions under which they could be held, including admission charges. The council had recently decided that permission for Sunday concerts would be given only where the objects to be assisted were connected? with the war.]
