OUTBREAKS OF FIRE
Sparks from burning rubbish set fire to a small pile of firewood in the yards of G. McClatchie and Company, Ltd., in Leicester street on Saturday afternoon. The outbreak was checked by the Central Fire Brigade before serious damage war. done. A fire in a hedge at 158 Wordsworth street, Sydenham, was checked yesterday afternoon by the brigade. Little damage was done.
