AIRCRAFT CRASHES IN GULLY
MAN KILLED AT FAIRVIEW (P.A.) TIMARU, September 27. Kenneth Walter Cox, aged 27, wai killed this afternoon at Fairview when he took up for the first time a single* seater aeroplane which he had purchased in Christchurch a month ago. The machine did not gain much altitude,. and was flying down a gully, above a creek, when it crashed. Cox, who was a carpenter by trade, and not an experienced pilot, was killed instantly.
