DEATH FROM HEART FAILURE

Heart failure due to myocarditis and degeneration of the arteries to the heart was found to be the cause of death at an inquest yesterday into the death of Ida Eliza Carter, aged 56, wife of Sergeant-Major A. H. Carter. 109 River road, Avonside. Evidence was given that Mrs Carter collapsed while visiting her daughter at a flat in Colombo street on September 20. Mr E. C. Levvey was Coroner.
