ISSUE OF UNIFORMS TO HOME GUARD

The issue of uniforms to Home Guard units is to be resumed, it was announced at Home Guard headquarters yesterday. This has been delayed because of the issue of a second uniform to members of the Territorial Forces, many of whom have hitherto had no change of uniform. A survey of the stocks of uniforms held by the Army in the Southern Military District has been made, and the result was a decision to resume the weekly issue of uniforms to Home Guardsmen.
