ST. BEDE’S CHAMPIONSHIPS

The St. Bede's College cross-country championships were held yesterday under ideal conditions. In the open championship. D. Blyth ran the distance (about three and a quarter miles) in 18mm 24 sec, breaking the record made by E. Malley in 1932. Following are details:— Open Championship.—D. Blyth 1, D. Mannix 2, J.
