BRITISH ADVANCE IN MADAGASCAR The British columns advancing, in Madagascar are now closing i in on the capital, Antananarivo, according to the latest communique. East of Antananarivo an important road and railway junction has been captured. On the north-west coast the British advance continues, in spite of heavy rain and road demolitions by the French.—London, September 21.
