CHINESE ATTACKS IN CHEKIANG
PRESSURE NORTH-WEST OF KINHWA LONDON, Sept. 16. In the important battle for Kinhwa, capital of Chekiang Province, the capture of which by the Chinese is necessary so that the full benefits of their recent successes in Chekiang may be realised, renewed activity is reported neat Lanchi, north-west of the city. ' A Chungking communique says that the latest reports from the front suggest that,enemy resistance in this key position now shows signs of collapsing.
