(P.A.) AUCKLAND, September 16. , As a result of a police raid on Saturday. William George Upfold pleaded guilty in the Magistrate’s Court to a +ut rg ?T°l bookmaking. The police said that Upfold’s business was probably one of the biggest of its kind in New /.ealand. He had had one previous conviction. . The Magistrate (Mr F. H. Levien) imposed a fine of £l5O.
