BURMA OILFIELDS BOMBED

(Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 15. A New Delhi communique says that Blenheim bombers raided the Yenangyaung oilfields in Central Burma and straddled the area with bombs. The fires could be seen 40 miles away. All the aircraft returned. Giving details of earlier attacks on Myitkyina, the communique says that low-level' attacks were made on the aerodrome and enemy aeroplanes on the ground were damaged.
