The third night of a three-night Howell contract bridge match, played at Crockford’s Club, resulted as follows: —North and south: Mrs A. Rose and Mr E. A. Summers 1; Mrs G. Geddes and Mr J. Bruges 2; Mrs L. Wyles and Miss Bromley Cocks 3. East and west: Mrs V. Stopp and Mrs C. Stringer 1, Mrs Moray Smith and Mr J Ardagh 2, Miss D. Humphreys and Miss R. Cracroft Wilson 3. The best final results were as follows: —Mrs C. Stringer 1, Mr J. Ardagh 2, Mrs Rose 3, Professor P. H. Powell 4. Mrs Summers 5, Mrs Geddes 6, Mrs W. Laver 7, Miss Bromley Cocks 8, Mrs G.
