HAILEYBURY COLLEGE, MELBOURNE
♦ MR SHOLTO BLACK NOW HEADMASTER (Rec. 1.30 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Sept. 15. Mr Sholto Black, formerly of the staff of the Timaru High School apd other New Zealand schools, was installed to-day as headmaster of Haileybury College, where he has been first assistant master for several years. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. S. A. Goddard. moderator of the Melbourne South Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church, which controls the school. Haileybury College was founded 51 years ago as a boys' secondary school, but the church interest in it was acquired only three years ago.
