WHERE CLIMBERS ARE MISSING.—A search is at present being made for two Timaru climbers, Messrs A. D. Jackson and F. Tozer, who are overdue on a climbing trip in the Cass valley region, towards the Liebig range, beyond Lake Tekapo. This view of the head of the Cass stream shows the route to Rutherford’s pass, pioneered in the summer of 1908-9 by Mr G. E, Mannenngf of Fendalton. The cross . marks the pass which leads over to the Murchison glacier.
