—* — EGYPTIAN FRONT The Cairo communique says •that on Friday night patrol activity in Egypt continued. Hard fighting was confined to artillery exchanges in the southern sector. Five enemy aircraft were shot down and others were damaged by Allied fighters when they were engaged over the Allied lines on Saturday.—London, September 13.
