HAGLEY CLUB In the final of the Hagley Golf Club’s junior championship over 36 holes, C. N. Haslam beat E. Braggins, 8 and 7. In a semi-final of the senior championship, T. James beat P. G. Greenwood, 2 up. Following are the best scores in a bogey competition:—C. L. Crowley (10), 4 down: J. C. Cullman (8), 6 down; A. M. West (15), 6 down; E, Harding (11), 7 down; L. S. AVONDALE LADIES’ CLUB In the third round of the Avondale Ladies’ Golf Club’s junior championship, Mrs V. Atkinson beat Mrs J. McNish by default; Miss M. Hudson beat Miss E. Lawrence, 5 and 4; Miss B. Blair beat Mrs G. Papps. 2 and 1; Mrs T. Condliffe beat Mrs J. Hastings, 2 up. In a bisque bogey competition played on Saturday the following were the best cards returned:—Miss N. Hopkins (18) all square; Mrs D. A. Gunn (14) all square; Miss S. Britton (22). 1 down; Miss A. Cunningham (23), 1 down.
