The September meeting ot the North Christchurch Garden Club was held at the home of Mrs A. E. G. Lyttlfe, Leinster road, The speaker was Mr G. Combridge, whose subject, “Pansies and Violas,” was instructive and interesting. Tea was served *by MeSdames McClure, McKenzie, Chainey, and Lange. The competition, a break-fast-tray posy, resulted as follows: Miss Johnson 1, Miss Thompson 2, Mrs Ward 3.
