Ten cases of tuberculosis were the greater "part of last week's notifications of infectious diseases in Canterbury. The weekly statistics of the Department of Health 'Show that there were also five cases of cerebro-spinal meningitis, two of erysipelas, and one of hydatids. On the West Coast there were three cases of scarlet fever and one of tuberculosis. There were no deaths from infectious diseases in either district.
