RELIEF OF MAGISTRATES
Sir, —There surely must be a dearth of justices in Christchurch when a magistrate comes from the West Coast to deal with a few simple debt cases. Can the Minister of Justice justify this? I think not More justices should be appointed to assist the overburdened magistrates.—Yours, etc., HENRY BETTS. Reefton, August 13, 1942.
