MINISTERS HAVE BUSY PAY

(P.A.) WESTPORT, August 13. The Hon. P. C. Webb and the Hon R. Semple have had a busy day receiving deputations and inspecting a sgrious land, slip on the road at Mokihinui, which threatens to block the railroad. To-night they addressed meetings at Denniston. Mr Semple stated it was intended shortly to place a rail-car in the service between Westport and Greymouth, although the Buller Gorge section of the road was not yet handed over to the Railways Department. This was to be done to conserve petrol and rubber, and would be of great benefit to people using the service.
