OXFORD GROUP LEADERS’ CONFERENCE.

♦ ■ (P.A.) WELLINGTON, August 9. Means by which the Oxford Group through its membership, of the churches could further , assist the campaign for Christian Order were discussed at a conference of leaders of the movement in Wellington during the week-end. Delegates reported that Group members were co-operating in the work of the regional and area committees, making an active contribution through the churches and organisations to which they belonged. An increasingly heavy responsibility was imposed on the remaining members of the Group because service in armed forces had withdrawn practically all the leaders.
