(P.S.S.) WELLINGTON, July 27. The weather forecast for Canterbury, Issued at 5 p.m. by the Meteorological Office. Wellington, and dealing with the 24 hours following the time of Issue, is as follows: Moderate variable winds. Weather cloudy, with occasional rain or ' drizzle at first, but improving slowly. Temperatures cold. Further outlook: mainly fair to cloudy. WEST COAST The forecast for the West Coast of the South Island is:— Moderate winds from an easterly quarter. Some morning low clbud and possibly drizzle, but weather otherwise fair. Temperatures cool.
CHRISTCHURCH WEATHER
The day in Christchurch yesterday, after a frost of 9.7 degrees, was cold and dull. At 1 o’clock this morning the sky was cloudy and there was a light wind from the south-west.
