No Further Meningitis Cases

No cases of cerebro-spinal meningitis have been reported so far this week in the Canterbury-West Coast health district, said the district medical officer of health, Dr. T. Fletcher Telford, yesterday. He added that the number of cases last week was actually four, instead of five, as previously stated. Postmortem examination in what was originally thought tp have been a fatal case of the disease revealed that the cause of death was not cerebro-spinal meningitis.
