SCOUTS’ ACTIVITIES
The monthly meeting of the County Scouts’ Council was held recently, the County Commissioner (Sir Joseph Ward) presiding over a good attendance. Reports were received from the Christchurch secretary of the scout rally, and the parades recently held in the' principal towns, were considered very satisfactory. These had succeeded in promoting new country troops, and several local troops of airscouts was I progressing satisfactorily under the ■ guidance of Airscout-master F, Olds, ; .
