RAZOR-BLADE HOLDER FOR SOLDIERS

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, March 7. A combination razor-blade holder is being manufactured in Wellington from scrap metal plate to the order of the National Patriotic Fund Board for issue free to the New Zealand Forces overseas as a substitute for the small scissors holder. It was designed by Mr S. Blackley, a member of the Wellington Provincial Patriotic Council, and embodies a nail file, nail cleaner, shaving mirror, bottle opener, three-inches scale, and protractor. Mr Blackley has given the board the sole New Zealand rights for the duration of the war. and thereafter any profits in New Zealand from commercial sales will eo to the patriotic funds and to the Soldiers’ Civil Re-establish-ment League.
