APPEALS AGAINST SERVICE

MANPOWER COMMITTEE’S DECISIONS Further appeals against service in the National Military Reserve or the Territorial Force were considered yesterday morning and afternoon by the Christchurch Manpower Committee. Mr J. S. Barnett presided, and with him were Messrs S. L. Wright and G. T. Thurston. Mr E. D. Thompson (secretary! appeared lor the Crown, and Captain S. Bowron for the military authorities.
