BABY SUFFERS BURNS A 10-month-old baby. Helen Ravcnscroft Smith, daughter cl Mr and Mrs James Smith, 20 Mackwmrth street, Woolston, w r as admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital yesterday afternoon whth burns on the right hand and foot. The accident occurred when the baby was playing in front of a fire and a piece of paper caught alight. Her condition was reported to be satisfactory last evening.
