March 4. n Owing lo the development of the d war situation and the consequent unci desirability of having a large number - of people assembled for a considerable o time, the gathering of the Waikato 1. tribes to meet the Governor-General (Sir Cyril Ncwall) and the Prime Minister (the Rt Hon, P. Fraser) between March 16 and March 18 has been postponed until a more favourable opportunity when the Governor-General and members of the Government can be afforded a welcome even more w-orthy of the people of the Waikato. This decision was arrived at after consultation between Princess Tc Puea and Mr Fraser, and is in accordance with the wishes of the Governor-General and King Koroki. il ' 1
