In many other towns which did not quite reach their quotas the "money-balls" rode high on the post office flagpoles, indicating that they had come very close to breaking out. their flags. Towns which flew their flags for the first time were Ruawai, Leigh, Kirwee, Ohura. Raglan, Plimmerton, and Waikanae. Towns which have now been successful at least once number 285. Several of them have been successful every week, while others have failed to reach their quotas on only a few occasions.
