SOLDIER SENTENCED

For refusing to submit to remedial treatment, Trooper Henry Walter Kerr, ordnance workshop, Army Tank Brigade, has been sentenced to 30 days imprisonment with hard labour. Kerr pleaded not guilty, before a courtmartial at Christchurch last week, to refusing to obey an order to submit to treatment for varicose veins.
