FIGHTERS LAUNCHED BY ROCKET

German newspapers reveal that the Luftwaffe i; using a new rocket device for launching fighters as part ct the defence against Royal Air Force sweeps over the Channel. The device enables lighters quickly to climb t■ > 7000 feel with an original speed nl nearly 400 miles an hour. This gives the defending aeroplanes ample height before the arrival of raiders.
