MEN ON EMERGENCY DUTIES

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, January 23. “There is no need for concern on the part of employers about possible injury to employees, while on Emergency Precautions Services duties, even if they were on the employers’ premises,” the Director of Natiooal Service (Mr J. S. Hunter) stated to-day in reply to an inquiry. Those, engaged in Emergency Precautions Services duty received similar protection in respect of injury or death due to such duties as that given to the Territorial Forces, he added.
