CHRISTCHURCH SOLDIER’S DEATH

Gunner John Sclwyn Stafford Armstrong, who was recently reported killed in action, was the youngest son of Mr A. E. Armstrong, managing direc. tor of T. Armstrong and Co., Ltd. He was well known in business in Christchurch, having joined his father's firm after completing his education at St. Rede’s College. He left on active service with the 3rd Echelon.
