ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGE
♦ (P.A.) AUCKLAND, January 16. A sequel to the Court sitting held at the bedside of Phyllis Rose Weir, aged 26, in the Auckland Hospital yesterday was the appearance in the Police Court to-day of William Weir, aged 20, a labourer, on a charge of attempting to murder his wife at Otahuhu on January 14. On the application of the police Weir was remanded to appear to-mor-row morning.
