20 PERSONS KILLED
DAYLIGHT RAID ON BRITAIN BOMB HITS AMBULANCE STATION LONDON, January 13. Twenty persons were killed during a raid by a single enemy aircraft on a town cn the north-east coast of Britain to-day. The dead included four women. One bomb fell on an ambulance station, killing several of the occupants. , . , . „ Another day raider dropped bombs on * a town in East Anglia. Many persons were buried under the debris of buildings and some were killed. There have been no raiders over Britain to-night. _ . Six persons were killed in German air raids on the north-east coast of England last night. . Raids were also carried out in East Anglia, where a direct hit was scored on an air raid shelter. Rescue parties were still at work this morning. A number of persons had already been released uninjured, but the casualties included a number of persons killed.
