Production of Spirits in Germany.— The production of spirits in Germany is being restricted to industrial alcohol, according to the Berlin correspondent of the Swedish newspaper “Social Demokraten.” A complete prohibition of the selling of spirits came into force at the New Year. Manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers must take stock of their goods and meanwhile no sales are permitted.—Rugby, January i ii .
