"I should like to take this opportunity of expressing the feelings which we in New Zealand have towards our new great allies, the United States, and also to express on behalf of the people of New Zealand and of all the peoples of the British Commonwealth the very deep appreciation which is felt for all that the people of the United States have done to help us in our hour of great need, said the Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser, at the opening of the Musick Memorial hfs afternoon.
