SHINGLE SUPPLY ASSOCIATION

The seventh annual meeting of the Christchurch Shingle and Metal Supply Association, Incorporated, was held in the Builders’ Chambers. The following officers were elected: —Chairman, Mr T. W. Woodroffe; deputychairman, Mr L. S. Smart; secretary and treasurer, Mr E. E. Luttrell; committee, Messrs J. Ashby, F. J. Perham, and Mayo and Ironside, Ltd.; honorary auditor, Mr C. E. Spittal. It was decided to close establishments from the evening of December 24 until the morning of January 5, 1942.
