OUTBREAK OF FIRE IN JOINERY SHOP

LITTLE DAMAGE DONE Slight damage to the building and contents was caused when fire broke out in premises at 121 Victoria street, occupied by Tibbs Bros., joiners and wood-turners. The Christchurch Fire Brigade was called to the premises at 5.35 p.m., and soon had the fire under control, so that little damage was done. The property is owned by Mr A. E. Marriott.
