ACCIDENTS
BOY KILLED BY FALL OF HAY-STACKER (P.A.) AUCKLAND, November 23. A boy died in the Auckland Hospital following injuries received when a hay-stacker fell on him while working at his uncle’s farm at Pukekohe. He was Raymond Archibald Lowrie, aged 10, a son of Mrs L. Lowrie, of Pukehoke East. He received a severe fracture of the skull and concussion. TWO SOLDIERS INJURED Two soldiers from Burnham Camp, Private Bruce Badger and Lance-Cor-poral Cyril Stratford, both suffered concussion and facial injuries last evening when the forks of the cycle they were riding broke. The accident occurred in Springfield road. They were admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital, where their condition early this morning was reported as satisfactory.
