ORANGE LODGE CELEBRATIONS

Representatives of Loyal Orange lodges in the Canterbury district paraded to attend a religious service at the City Central Mission yesterday. Tfye parade was held as part of the Orange Lodge November celebrations and followed the social held at the Orange Hall last week. Members of the various lodges met at the hall and marched to the Central Mission headed by the Century Harmonica Band. The service was conducted by the Rev. D. Gardner Miller. The Grand Senior Deacon, 'Worshipful Brother W. A. Rope, and the District Master, Worshipful Brother C. P. Harris, attended with members of the Christchurch City Council.
