MEN WRONGLY CALLED UP
CANCELLATIONS TO
BALLOTS A list of men whose • names were wrongly included in overseas and territorial ballots has been gazetted. The names appeared in ballots between October, 1940, and August, 1941, and of the present list, most of the names are now cancelled because the men were either members of the second division or were already serving in the armed forces. There are also some' instances of wrong classification. Some of the names have probably been published in connexion with appeals allowed on the grounds of status. There are 558 names in the whole list, of which 81 are from the Christchurch military.area (No. 10) The list below includes also some of those from Area 9 (Nelson) and three from Area 11 (Dunedin) CANTERBURY ADAMS, Hilton R., Chch.; Aulsebrook, Joseph W.
