DAFFODIL SHOW. —The Canterbury Horticultural Society’s annual daffodil show was held in the Caledonian Hall yesterday. ABOVE: The V for Victory emblem arranged by the ladies’ decoration committee. LEFT ABOVE: Barrii daffodil, “Red Heckle,” Mr G. Lewis’s premier bloom'and best in the show. LEFT BELOW: Incomparabilis daffodil, “Mannequin,” Mr G. Lewis’s premier bloom. RIGHT ABOVE: Leedsii daffodil, "Southern Plane,” Mr H. E. Dyer’s premier bloom. RIGHT BELOW: Trumpet daffodil, “Lily White,” Mr H. E. Dyer’s premier bloom.
