ATTACKED IN OWN HOME

WAREHOUSEMAN ASSAULTED BY BURGLAR A city warehouseman. Thomas Walter Robert Hitt, was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital last night with injuries sustained, it is believed, when he was attacked ,- y a burglar who gained entrance, to his home in Riccarton. Mr Hitt, who lives at 45 Hagley street, is suffering from head injuries. His condition late last night was described as satisfactory. He was brought to the hospital by detectives from the City Police Station who received a call to the house.
