MR FRASER’S TOUR

THE INTERNATIONAL SITUATION

Statement Likely On Tuesday

<P.R.) WELLINGTON, September 9. After the return to New Zealand of the Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser) at the week-end from his trip abroad, it is likely that the House of Representatives, which has been sitting on only three days a week for some time, will meet. at 7.30 o'clock on Tuesday night. ~ „ . Mr'Fraser will probably then make a statement to the .House and the country on the international situation, and it is possible that there will then be a short secret session to enable the Prime Minister to discuss with the House confidential matters, arising out of his visit. The Acting-Prime Minister (the Hon. W. Nash) is likely to leave Wellington for Auckland on Friday night to meet Mr Fraser.
